www.sodermalm.arnholm.nu

This server is located at Södermalmsgatan 13 in Mölndal and serves the Arnholm family with an internet connection through an ADSL-modem. It holds a small intranet site, the family-archive of pictures, recepies and a few other things as well as a copy of the www.arnholm.se/nu-sites.

It all started with Anders Commodore 64 in the mid 1980:ies and was followed by an Amiga 500 and a Amiga 1000 in 1988. Anders have both of these Amigas now. After a couple of years Bo bought an Amiga 2000 secondhand and later the Amiga 3000, called Ex-Willie, which is now at grand-ma's place.

The server connects all computers in the house and is accessible for us from the web.

Modesty is the spider in the net - an old Fujutsi with 64 MB RAM, 40 GB disk. Runs OpenBSD. Apple Laser Writer Pro 630 laserprinter with postscript.

WLAN is another spider in the net - a wireless hub for all those laptops in the family.

Blaise is Ingrid's computor, a modern Ubuntu-linux PC .

Sir Gerald is a "new" Amiga 4000. 68040, 69 GB disk, SCSI CD-Rom and 8/8/24 CD-writer, 80 MB RAM. Runs Amiga OS 3.9.
Gerald is a "new" Amiga One. 17" flatscreen. Runs Amiga OS 4 pre. Update 1 to 3.
Sir is a another "new" Amiga. Shares screen, mouse and keyboard with Gerald. Runs Amiga OS 4 with all updates.

Tarrant is an IBM Thinkpad 380D, 44 MB RAM, 5,9 GB disk, CD drive. Runs Win 95, Swedish.
Tarrant 2 is another laptop, new in 2002. A HP xe4500, 256 MB RAM, 30 GB disk, DVD-CDRW and connection to the digital camera and the GPS onboard our boat. Runs Win XPhome, English.
Tarrant 3 is another laptop, new in 2004. A Toshiba A50, 512 MB RAM, 60 GB disk, DVD-RW and connection to the digital camera and the GPS onboard our boat. Runs Win XPhome, Swedish.

Willie is another "new" A4000. Tower. It has 84 MB RAM, 68060, 20 GB disk, 24 spin CD rom + 4/4/24 CD-writer and zip. Runs Amiga OS 3.9. It's always turned on and runs AWS, Amiga Web Server, and serves as backup for all Bo's web-pages. It also runs AmiFTPd, an Amiga ftp-server, and here is the family-picture-database stored. From Willie we can always get those good old pictures . . .

Garwin the A3000 Bo used after Ex-Willie and before SirGerald, is still going strong in the basement. 4GB disk, 12 MB RAM, CD-Rom, soundcard. Runs Amiga OS 3.1 which is necessary for many of those good old Amiga-programs.

Ex-Willie is a "spare" Amiga 3000. It's Bo's oldest workstation and he's kept it just in case. 12 MB RAM and 1 GB disk, a PC floppy and zipdrive. Runs Amiga OS 3.1. It's now located at grandma's place!

Peter is a A4000 with 250 MB disk, 24 MB RAM and soundcard. Runs Amiga OS 3.1 which is necessary for many of those good old Amiga-programs.

Weng is a workstation in Robert's room upstairs. AMD K6-2 processor, 128 MB RAM, 10+7 GB disk, CD rom, 17" screen, shares zipdrive with Tarrant. Runs English XP.

Network2 is a PC with a lot of memory and disc. Runs Linux, Ubuntu and Windows XP. Used as a workstation. Connected to our scanners.

We now have a Samsung colourlaser printer CLP-550N. Hooked up on the internal network.
